SAN JOSE, Calif, -- November 9, 1998 -- Vaultline and Cisco Systems, Inc. today announced that they are combining efforts to offer services over a switched Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) backbone comprised of OC-3c (155.5 Mbps) circuits to Internet and Web-centric companies in two locations in California and plan additional network expansion later this year.

With a Cisco Powered Network, Vaultline offers customers reliable, secure and high-performance Internet services. The relationship highlights Vaultline's and Cisco's focus on using intelligent broadband IP networking to deliver enhanced connectivity and network-based applications.
