LONDON, UK -- October 15, 1998 -- Cisco Systems today announced that Robert Lloyd will be joining the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) executive team as Vice President Enterprise Line of Business, a newly created role. In his new position, Robert Lloyd's responsibilities will include the development, management and supervision of product and program requirements for the Enterprise LOB as well as the development and execution of the strategy and programs for EMEA.
Lloyd joined Cisco in 1994 as General Manager of Cisco's Canadian subsidiary. Under his direction, the Canadian business grew more than 500 percent. He managed the evolution of the Canadian organization from a geographic/regional orientation to a highly specialized line of business team.
