ATLANTA, Ga. -- October 21, 1998 -- Cisco Systems announced its first Cisco Powered Network Partner Pavilion at the NetWorld+Interop '98 Atlanta trade show with more than 20 of its leading Cisco Powered Network service providers exhibiting in booth number 5231 - next to Cisco's main N+I booth.
"We're excited to have our first partner pavilion at the Fall NetWorld+Interop event in Atlanta," said Kevin Kennedy, senior vice president of Cisco's Service Provider Line of Business. "As service providers play an increasingly important role in meeting today's end-to-end networking needs, we're using the Cisco Powered Network program to help our customers choose the service provider that's right for them.
