Micron Internet Services and Cisco Work Together To Offer End to End Networking Solutions

Micron Receives Cisco Powered Network Status

Boise, Idaho, -- June 25, 1998 -- Micron Internet Services, adivision of Micron Technology, Inc., and the largest direct Internetservice provider in Idaho received the designation as an Authorized CiscoPowered Network. This designation makes Micron the region's first locallybased provider to receive this status.

"It is significant that Micron has become a part of the Cisco Powered Network program," said Todd Chavez, marketing manager for Micron Internet Services. "Micron's network is based on the principles of quality and excellence. By becoming an authorized Cisco Powered Network, we can bring advanced, differentiated networking solutions to market quickly," added Chavez.

Recent enhancements to Micron's "fault tolerant" network include additional Internet capacity and caching technology using Cisco's Cache Engine to speed Web access. Micron's Internet access is available throughout the Intermountain West.
