WEEHAWKEN, NJ -- May 7, 1998 -- Icon CMT Corp. (NASDAQ: ICMT), a tier-one Internet Service Provider, today announced the launch of a series of free seminars focusing on the technology and techniques for developing Web-enabled legacy applications.

The three-city seminar series entitled, Internet Business Solutions Forum, will feature technology from Icon CMT, Cisco Systems, Inc., Netscape Communications, Oracle Corporation and Sun Microsystems. Each seminar will focus on the components of delivering end-to-end Web-enabled legacy solutions, including needs analysis, design, development, system integration, infrastructure, deployment and management. The seminars will be held in New York City on May 19, in Philadelphia on May 20 and in Boston on May 21.

Each half-day seminar will identify the critical success factors to Web-enable legacy applications, helping organizations leverage the Internet as a strategic business tool. The seminar will also outline the hardware, software and integration services required to deliver an end-to-end solution. There will be a roundtable luncheon at the end of each seminar where attendees will be able to meet members of leading Internet companies as well as network with peers.

Oracle will provide insight on the application development issues and Sun will outline the hardware system integration issues, followed by Cisco who will deliver an overview of the IP infrastructure required to support robust applications. Icon CMT will be instrumental in each phase and will provide an overview of the deployment and management phase.
