With a Cisco Powered Network, TNS offers customers reliable, secure andhigh-performance extranet services. TNS's FastLink. Data Service, which incorporates Cisco Systems equipmentand Cisco IOS software, routes Financial Information eXchange (FIX)protocol messaging over a secure TCP/IP network designed, operated andmaintained by TNS. The FIX message protocol facilitates the electroniccommunication of indications of interest, orders and execution reports thatare normally phoned between equities traders. TNS was the firstindependent network services provider to develop a secure data transportservice for the investment community that meets all of the requirementsdeveloped by the FIX consortium.
