MUNICH/BONN, Germany - November 13, 1997 - Deutsche Telekom AG and Cisco Systems, Inc.today announced that they are teaming to offer advanced, end-to-end networking solutions.
With a Cisco Powered Network, Deutsche Telekom AG offers customers reliable, secure andhigh-performance Internet services. The relationship highlights Deutsche Telekom's and Cisco'sfocus on using intelligent broadband IP networking to deliver enhanced connectivity andnetwork-based applications to Germany4s largest corporations.

T-InterConnect is Deutsche Telekom's Internet service designed for business customers. Thebackbone network used to provide this service runs on Cisco Systems equipment, including 7500and 7200 family routers.
