WorldWide Access Expands Service with a Cisco Access Solution

SAN JOSE, Calif.- March 17, 1997 - Cisco Systems, Inc. announcedtoday that Chicago, Illinois based, WorldWide Access has selected theCisco AS5200 universal access server in the expansion of its local dialaccess network. WorldWide Access has deployed more than a dozen AS5200sin the expansion of its dial access network, dramatically improvingnetwork efficiency, connectivity and content delivery.

WorldWide Access and Cisco are working together to streamline WorldWideAccess' dial access services through delivery of an end-to-end,scaleable solution which integrates high performance dial accessplatforms with Cisco IOS(TM) software features enabling a host ofvalue-added network services. The flexibility and scalability of thissolution combined with innovative service and support permit WorldWideAccess to decrease operating costs and assure maximum servicereliability to its growing subscriber base.
