SAN JOSE, Calif. - February 19, 1997 - Cisco Systems, Inc.announced today that InterNet2000 will design its Web hosting servicearound a Cisco family of switches and AS5200 dial access servers. InterNet2000 plans to deploy a Cisco solution to quickly ramp up its newWeb hosting and Internet access services.
InterNet2000 and Cisco are working together to deliver an end-to-end,scaleable solution which combines a host of differentiated Cisco IOS(TM)software network services with high performance access platforms. Theflexibility and scalability of this solution will enable InterNet2000 toreduce operating expenses, lower costs and decrease time to market withnew services. InterNet2000's customers will now have Internet accessand the ability to publish their Web sites through this new Web hostingservice.
