Cisco Recognizes Unisys Achievements

BLUE BELL, PA, January 28, 1997-- Unisys Corporation's GlobalCustomer Services business unit today announced that it has won threeawards, including two "Partner of the Year" accolades, from CiscoSystems, Inc., the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet. Theawards illustrate the vitality and strength of Unisys GCS' globalmultivendor network integration business.

Cisco recognized Unisys GCS for outstanding sales and serviceperformance with the following awards for 1996:

  • Partner of the Year in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This awardis presented to the Cisco partner with the "best overall performance insales, support and partnership" in these regions.
  • Best Sales Growth. During Cisco's fiscal year 1996, Unisys GCS' salesof Cisco solutions grew 300 percent over the previous year. Unisys GCS'performance surpassed all Cisco worldwide partners in total salesgrowth.
  • Most Active Online Partner of the Year. Unisys GCS sales and supportstaff sought more product information and technical assistance throughCisco Connection Online, a professional helpdesk, than any otherpartner.

Unisys GCS has been a Cisco reseller and service alliance partner since1993. The companies reaffirmed their relationship in August by signinga new multiyear global reseller agreement. The new agreement ensuresthat users can acquire from a single provider -- Unisys GCS -- theservices required to implement and support Cisco Systems' industryleading, network solutions on a global basis.
