EDS' Steven West Appointed To Cisco Systems Board

San Jose, Calif. - April 26, 1996 - Cisco Systems, Inc. today announcedthat Steven M. West, president of Electronic Data Systems' (EDS)Infotainment business units, has been appointed to the Cisco Systems, Inc.Board of Directors.

West is an industry innovator who joined EDS in 1984 as an operationsmanager for its telecommunications network, which was then the world'slargest private telecommunications network. His contributions include thedevelopment and implementation of the EDS/General Motors (GM)telecommunications plan, which helped significantly reduce GM'stelecommunications expenses.
