This certification provides assurance to Cisco's global customer base thatthe processes involved in the design and development; the manufacture; andservice and support of Cisco products adhere to the ISO 9001 qualitymanagement standard which is the most stringent and comprehensive of theISO 9000 series of quality management standards.

The global ISO 9001 certification, awarded in July, 1995 isvalid for three years subject to periodic auditing by the third-partyregistrar.
