SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 3, 1995 -- Cisco Systems has promoted two ofits executives, Donald LeBeau and James Richardson, to new vicepresident-level positions in the worldwide and North American operationsareas.
Donald LeBeau, 47, has been promoted to senior vice president ofWorldwide Operations, reporting to John Chambers, Cisco executive vicepresident, (who was
James Richardson, 37, who for the last two years has served as Cisco'svice president of Intercontinental Operations, has been promoted to vicepresident of North American Operations. Reporting to LeBeau, he isresponsible for Cisco's sales and support activities in Canada and the U.S.Richardson first joined Cisco in 1990 as general manager for Canada. In1992 he became vice president for Intercontinental Operations (Asia,Australia, Canada, Latin America); under his leadership the business grewover 400 percent. Prior to joining Cisco Richardson was at Unisys, wherehe held various management positions.
