MENLO PARK, Calif., February 8, 1994 -- Cisco Systems, Inc.(NASDAQ/NMS:CSCO) announced that its board of directors, at the company'sregularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, has authorized the splittingof the stock on a 2-for-1 basis for shareholders of record on March 4,1994.

Shares resulting from the split are expected to be distributed by thetransfer agent on March 18, 1994.
