MENLO PARK, Calif., June 1, 1993 -- Cisco Systems' California-based manufacturing facility and its newgeneration of router products have received BABT (BritishApprovals Board for Telecommunications) approval.

BABT recognized the high quality of Cisco'smanufacturing facility by awarding Cisco the BABT ProductionQuality Assurance approval. "BABT rules did not, until recently, specify the needfor approval of a vendor's production facility. The factthat Cisco has won this, almost immediately after it has beenintroduced, reflects the high quality of our products andmanufacturing process," said Alan Watkins, UK countrymanager, Cisco Systems.
