MENLO PARK, Calif. February 9, 1993 -- Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:CSCO) announced that its board of directors, atthe company's regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday,has authorized the splitting of the stock on a 2-for-1 basisfor shareholders of record on March 5, 1993.

Shares resulting from the split are expected to be distributed by the transfer agent on March 19, 1993.
