Rebecca Jacoby is Senior Vice President of Operations at Cisco. She was promoted to the role in July 2015 and is responsible for advancing profitable growth strategies and improving operational performance. She oversees Supply Chain, IT, Customer and Partner Services, Operations Architecture, Procurement, Customer Success Transformation, Employee Services, and the Security and Trust organization.
A Cisco veteran of 21 years, Rebecca is known for her strong track record of innovative problem solving, operational excellence and talent development. In August 2015, she was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame by CIO Magazine and was recognized by Forbes as a "Superstar" CIO in 2012.
In her former role as the company's Chief Information Officer, she established the IT organization as a strategic business partner, producing significant business value for Cisco in the form of financial performance, customer satisfaction and loyalty, market share, and productivity. Her strong commitment to operational excellence and aptitude for partnering cross-functionally have reshaped and elevated the role of IT at Cisco, resulting in great synergies of IT and Engineering through a history of Cisco on Cisco deployments.
Since joining Cisco in 1995, Jacoby has held a variety of leadership roles in operations, manufacturing, and IT. Prior to joining Cisco, Jacoby held a variety of planning and operations positions with other companies in Silicon Valley.
Jacoby serves on the Board of Directors for S&P Global Inc. and the Second Harvest Food Bank.
She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of the Pacific and a master's degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.
