Music and wine lovers rejoice! BottleRock Napa Valley 2018 is here and no matter your musical preference, whether it's headliners like Bruno Mars or lesser known musicians, there's something for everyone. The 6th annual music festival runs through Sunday this Memorial Day Weekend, and festival-goers will no doubt want to share some of their favorite moments. That's where Cisco comes in.
Cisco is a proud partner of this year's event, with Cisco Meraki forming the foundation of the entire festival network, from back-of-house connectivity to fan-facing Wi-Fi in the VIP area. We will also use our collaboration technology to deliver an amazing connected concert experience for both fans and artists.
Live Nation, which purchased a majority stake in BottleRock Napa Valley, has long partnered with Cisco, giving nearly 500,000 fans at 28 Live Nation Venues lasting memories through more reliable and secure connectivity. Some of the biggest bands and artists on the planet, think U2, OneRepublic, and Justin Timberlake, have taken advantage of Cisco technology to make their concerts run seamlessly. Using Cisco Meraki, crews can set up a network that connects the show equipment without having to run miles of cable. Using Cisco video surveillance, security can monitor who is backstage and in other sensitive areas.
And bands take advantage of Cisco's collaboration technology, using Webex to communicate and create while they're on the road.
While fans only take in what's happening on the stage, you can be sure that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes, thanks to the Cisco, and with BottleRock, we've added a festival to the list of happy partners.
