WEF Cisco execs global problem solvers

Highlights from the 2017 World Economic Forum include the support of global problem solvers.

The annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland brings together the world's most influential leaders, thinkers, and doers. With 2017 off to a fresh new start, Cisco is in Switzerland bringing the latest in innovation and new technology.

Cisco Executive Chairman John Chambers noted in his blog on the WEF site," Digitization could create $5.1 trillion in economic value for the US by 2025, while significantly lowering unemployment. But the US cannot realize this potential unless its leaders work effectively across party lines and with all industries to drive forward a digital agenda."

Most importantly to Cisco leaders is sending the message of becoming Global Problem Solvers, or enlisting and inspiring individuals to enact positive change in our world. Through using innovation and technology, we can create environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, and grant essential human needs.
