Meet Sabina Chaudhuri and learn why she chose to work for Cisco as her first job out of college.November 14, 2016
Sabina Chaudhuri, Business Systems Analyst
My journey started back in 2011 when I decided to pursue a career in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis. I spent my first two years heavily involved with student organizations and dance teams. My interest for technology started when I visited the tech company my older sister was working at. I loved the atmosphere and decided I wanted to follow in her footsteps. Starting my junior year, I juggled between running a student organization, working on campus, and completing internships at companies such as CBS and Intel. When senior year came around, I realized I wanted to pursue a career working as an analyst and came across Cisco at our Fall Career Fair. After going through the entire recruiting process I received my offer letter and was excited to start the next journey of my life. I decided to choose Cisco because I knew my position would challenge me and allow me to grow professionally and personally.
At Cisco I work as a Business Systems Analyst on the Global Infrastructure: Business Strategy Team. I work with analytics to help support business decisions. The culture and the people around me is what makes me love Cisco as a company. When I listen to the career journey of my fellow peers, it motivates me to maintain a forward-thinking mindset and to always work hard.
I am an avid traveler, a knowledge seeker of business, philosophy and random art, and love to spend my weekends outdoors with my family/friends and my dog. Growing up I played the piano, loved to dance, and played varsity golf for my high school. Since I was born in the Bay Area, I bleed blue and gold (Go Warriors!) and have a tradition of going to a Warriors game with my dad every winter. If you see me around the San Jose site, feel free to stop and ask me about what book I am reading or my favorite place to travel!
