SVP, Customer Experience & Operations Finance
Abhey Lamba is Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and Operations Finance, is responsible for accelerating growth for Cisco. In this role, Abhey partners with the company’s Chief Operating Officer to drive strategic alignment on key transformational initiatives and the delivery of exceptional experiences to customers, partners, and employees. He and his team also work closely with the CFO to drive Cisco’s recurring revenue transformation.
Prior to joining Cisco in 2021, Abhey held various executive roles at Autodesk. Most recently, he was Vice President Go-To-Market Finance at Autodesk where he managed strategic planning, forecasting, revenue delivery, and sales and marketing spend. Abhey joined Autodesk as VP of Investor Relations where he repositioned the company for investors as it came out of its business model transformation. Abhey was instrumental in repositioning various performance metrics and strategically positioning Autodesk as a growth company. He was voted as one of the best investor relations professionals in the software industry by the Institutional Investor Survey.
Before re-entering the corporate world, Abhey worked as an equity analyst at various investment banks on Wall Street for about fourteen years where he analyzed, advised, and took several technology companies public. His work in covering software and hardware companies was well-regarded by institutional investors and he was widely quoted in various financial and business media. In his early career, Abhey worked as a software engineer and management consultant.
Abhey holds Bachelor of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Master of Science from University of Connecticut, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
