SVP, Cisco Customer Experience
James Mobley is a Senior Vice President in Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) organization. Prior to the creation of CX, James led several strategic growth businesses within Cisco Services, including Services Product Management for the entire Cisco portfolio of architectures; the Emerging Technologies and Innovation team responsible for incubation of new offers; and Global Security, IoT, and Collaboration services.
James joined Cisco in 2015, following the acquisition of Neohapsis, Inc. where he served as President and CEO. Neohapsis was a leading cybersecurity consultancy providing mobile, cloud, risk, and compliance services to many of the world’s largest enterprises.
During his nearly two decades of work in security start ups and global technology companies, James has regularly engaged in public/private partnerships focused on security strategy, policy, and regulation. He and his team of security thought leaders have helped protect government and commerical infrastructure worldwide by contributing to the definition and adoption of global security standards and frameworks.
James focuses on strategies that help businesses thrive in the digital economy, securely. He collaborates with Global 100 CEOs, CIOs, and CISOs to help them build world-class solutions through the integration of people, process, and technology roadmaps.
Prior to making security a core focus, James held executive leadership roles at IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation (HP), and Compaq Computer Corporation (HP). He is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
