Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA –  20 November 2014 – Cisco and Vattanac Properties Limited are collaborating towards laying the foundation for a Smart+Connected™ Cambodia through a landmark development: Vattanac Capital, which will transform the Phnom Penh city skyline and spur economic development in the city by offering future-ready, networked real-estate to businesses.

Using Cisco® technology solutions, Vattanac Capital is embracing the network as a platform to drive business interest and provide world standard corporate offices in Cambodia. In addition to providing secure and ubiquitous Internet access across the two densely populated buildings, the Cisco solutions for: wired and wireless internet access, unified communications; and unified contact center and network security have made Vattanac Capital the first connected building in Cambodia. In 2012, the development won the South East Asia Property Awards for the Best Commercial Property in the region.

As an example, using Cisco Contact Center solutions, the tenants can easily integrate inbound and outbound voice applications with online applications like real-time chat, web collaboration, email, and social media. This integration helps single agents support multiple interactions simultaneously, regardless of the communications channel the tenants have chosen.

Vattanac Capital consists of two towers and a glass podium, which incorporate elements of feng shui and traditional Naga motifs. Shaped like a dragon’s back, Vattanac Capital Tower 1 is a 38 floor skyscraper with executive business occupants, a luxury hotel and equally luxurious retail brands. Tower 2 is a lifestyle cube with cinemas and medical services among other retailers. The two office towers have floor areas ranging from 1,461 to 1,769 square meters per floor. When complete, the development will consist of four different zones: an office zone featuring 21 floors of grade A office space, a luxury retail zone, an ultra-luxury five-star Rosewood hotel on the top 14 floors and a ‘lifestyle cube’ featuring international-standard medical, education and entertainment facilities.
