Prior to this role he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Collaboration Endpoints Technology Group, is responsible for creating and lighting-up soft and hard endpoint devices from Cisco and third-party vendors with Cisco collaboration solutions.
Winge also led the TelePresence Technology Group and was responsible for Cisco TelePresence endpoints, infrastructure, and solutions. He was instrumental in Cisco's continued success and market leadership in telepresence.
Winge's understanding of the technology disruptions, competitive dynamics, and customer needs in the collaboration market has been key in Cisco's interoperability and simplification efforts. His passion for improving user experience is directed at the creation of an integrated collaboration portfolio, with a single collaboration architecture and common user experience strategy across the company.
Winge serves on Cisco's Collaboration Architecture and Video Architecture boards. To achieve the vision of an integrated collaboration and video portfolio, he has been instrumental in promoting the foundational Medianet architecture across Cisco collaboration and video architectures.
Winge joined Cisco with the Tandberg acquisition. At Tandberg he served in various roles including Head of Business Development and Strategy, President EMEA Sales, and EVP Products. Prior to joining Tandberg, Winge was with McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he held multiple roles within the Scandinavian, Johannesburg, and Boston offices.
Winge holds a master's degree in business and economics from the Norwegian School of Management.
