As Senior Vice President of the Global Business Services group at Cisco, Olivier Kohler leads a team that integrates a number of shared services across the company. His two primary objectives in this position are to transform the operational model for the Next Cisco and to deliver day-to-day execution on core shared services for the company. The transformation effort is centered on developing a comprehensive operations roadmap for Cisco through early and deep engagement with the business, establishing end-to-end policies, processes, and systems to provide scale and agility to accelerate business growth. The execution effort is centered on operational excellence to deliver an improved experience for Cisco customers, partners, employees, and shareholders.
Also at Cisco, Kohler is a member of the Extended Operations and Finance leadership team, and co-chair of the Business Architecture Steering Committee. He is responsible for leading Cisco's operational excellence transformation.
Prior to joining Cisco, Kohler spent 28 years with Hewlett-Packard, where he accumulated experience across diverse business units and functions. His most recent positions included Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategic Alliances and Senior Vice President of Sales Operations. Other positions included Senior Vice President of eBusiness and Customer Operations, Vice President of Information Technology, general manager of the North America Consumer business, director of the Internet business unit, and controller of the Product Support Division. He also served in various services and support functions in the U.K. and Switzerland. During his tenure at HP, Kohler was part of the executive team responsible for the planning and integration of the HP and Compaq merger.
Kohler holds business and information technology degrees from the Geneva Business School.
