Working with partners, his group helps transform our customers by fostering innovation to create markets, new business models, and enable cost efficiencies that fuel industry leading business and IT performance.
As an organizational strategist and IT services expert, McPhee has a long record of delivering complex change for global companies. He helps customers refocus their IT organization, applications, and infrastructure away from traditional models to a service-centric model based on predictive analysis, cloud, virtualization, and automation.
McPhee joined Cisco from Accenture, where he served as Managing Partner and member of the company's Global Technology Leadership team, which set the direction and vision for Accenture's technology services and outsourcing agenda. He directed the 2012 strategic refresh of Accenture's cloud strategy and the 2013 refresh of its global strategic IT consulting methodology and market-facing approach. His leadership on Accenture's IT services and outsourcing strategy included sales, marketing, solutions, and development of an end-to-end global delivery model. This effort consistently delivered substantial growth from 2005 through 2012.
Prior to joining Accenture, McPhee served as Group Sales Director for Hitachi Data Systems from 2001 to 2005, leading the company's business transformation program from a hardware-only technology company to a hardware-plus-services company, offering consulting and outsourcing. During his tenure, he developed the UK managed services/outsourcing business, a program that served as a catalyst for developing customer innovation and financial performance worldwide.
McPhee holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Liverpool.
