October 12 - 18, 2003
Customer momentum and success will be the theme for Cisco Systems at ITU Telecom World 2003, the four-yearly global telecommunications fair held at the Palexpo complex in Geneva and this year taking place October 12-18.
Cisco will emphasize its commitment to be the most complete partner for service provider success by highlighting its unique offering that helps providers build intelligent packet networks, deploy IP-based services, accelerate demand with enterprise and small-to-medium businesses and optimize their business through network and back-office productivity enhancements.
The technology emphasis will be on managed services such as IP telephony and the development of Metro Ethernet services, as well as how industry standard technologies such as MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) are helping service providers to bring about this evolution.
