Vancouver to Host Seventh Annual Cisco Partner Summit

Vancouver the first non-U.S. city to attract global technology event

VANCOUVER, Canada - February 22, 2005 - Cisco Systems® today announced it will hold its annual Partner Summit from April 4-7 in Vancouver, Canada. This will mark the first time the global technology conference will be held outside of the United States.

"The Cisco Partner Summit is one of the largest and most influential IT events in North America, attracting a global audience," said Keith Goodwin, Senior Vice President, Americas International, Cisco Systems. "Our channel partners are the best in the industry and provide Cisco with a significant competitive advantage. Ultimately, our channel partners' ability to successfully sell Cisco solutions and penetrate new markets will determine Cisco's ability to grow."

At the Partner Summit, Cisco's senior executive team will outline the company's vision and strategy. Keynote speakers will include, President and CEO, John Chambers; Chief Technology Office, Charles Giancarlo; Senior Vice President, Worldwide Channels, Paul Mountford; and Chief Marketing Office, James Richardson. The event will also feature a Technology and Solutions Forum showcasing new solutions from Cisco and partners; market and technology breakout sessions and a banquet honoring global partner achievements in 2004.

The Cisco Partner Summit 2005 will be held from April 4-7, 2005 at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event is invitation only for channel partners, press and analysts.
