One Million Acts of Green
Congratulations Canada! We reached One Million Acts of Green (OMAoG) in just 3 months and - starting July 1, 2009 - sparked a global campaign.
Thousands of Canadians and corporations, including TD Bank Financial, BMO Financial, Fairmont Hotels and TELUS, joined the campaign. From October to June 2009, Canadians registered an incredible 1,746,932 acts of green and reduced over 101,000,000 kg of green house gases.
OMAoG demonstrated the true power of the Human Network Effect: Together, people and technology are able to make positive changes for the sake of our planet.
