Les Williamson is the managing director for Cisco Australia and New Zealand, effective August 1, 2007. Mr. Williamson is responsible for driving profitable growth through the promotion of the network as the platform for productivity and innovation for businesses, services providers, government and consumers. Mr. Williamson reports to Owen Chan, President of Asia Pacific. His prior role was Cisco Client director, Telstra sales, where Mr. Williamson was responsible for strong growth in the Telstra account for Cisco, and was instrumental in securing the first orders of both CRS-1 and Telepresence in the Australian market. Mr. Williamson has more than eight years experience with Cisco and more than 19 years in the information technology and joined Cisco in 1999 as an account manager. Mr. Williamson holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering from Monash University, Victoria. |
