Corporate social responsibility has always been part of Cisco's culture, based on our values of openness, integrity, teamwork and generosity. Cisco's initial focus was on social investments as well as on recruiting and retaining the best talent. Our focus today has evolved to include minimizing our environmental impact, first by focusing on our own operations and then on optimizing efficiency, reuse, and recyclability of our products.

Kathy Mulvany, Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, Cisco
Kathy Mulvany leads several functions within Corporate Affairs including marketing communications, sustainable business practices and public benefit investment. As such, she is responsible for driving awareness of Cisco's social programs in the areas of education, healthcare, economic development, and critical human needs. Kathy also manages Cisco's corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement, as well as providing feedback and guidance to management on CSR related issues. In addition, Ms. Mulvany oversees Cisco's corporate and Foundation grant making programs. Lastly, she leads Cisco's strategic partnerships with the Clinton Global Initiative and the World Economic Forum.
About Jennifer Biringer:
Based in San Francisco, Jennifer is a member of SustainAbility's Management Team. She leads SustainAbility's work in the food & beverage sector and works closely with a more diverse portfolio of with clients on the US west coast, especially in the IT and consumer goods industries. Jennifer has great expertise in strategy development, value chains, public policy and methods of achieving transformative change.
