"Cisco@25, Cisco In 25" Video Contest Official Guidelines

Cisco is celebrating 25 years of driving technology innovation. How do you think technology will evolve in the next 25 years? Submit a video for a chance to win a new Flip Slide HD camcorder.

Submission Guidelines:

  • You may submit any number of different entries between September 1, 2010 and October 30, 2010.
  • Do not submit the same video more than once

Acceptable video specifications:

  • Duration: 1 minute or less
  • File Size: 2 GB
  • Any file format is accepted
  • Language: Narrative or subtitled in English
  • Entries not following these specifications will be rejected

How to Participate:

Create a 60 second or less video clip answering the question, "Where do you see technology going in the next 25 years?"

Be interesting! We encourage participants to be as creative as possible with their video submissions!

To submit your video response, sign into your YouTube account or create one. Note: You must create a YouTube account to submit a video response. Once you are have signed into your account, go to the Cisco@25, Cisco In 25 promotion videoand click on the link under the comments section that states, "Attach a Video." Follow the necessary instructions and upload your video. Your video will not appear right away, as all submissions must go through an approval process.

The top five finalists will be announced by November 18, 2010. Finalists will be contacted through the contact information they provided.

Judging will be based on the following criteria:
-Volume of buzz the video receives across the social web such as, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and MySpace.
-Originality and Relevance to Contest theme, as determined by a panel of Cisco judges
