Cisco to Host Industry Discussion on Transforming IT Organizations to Better Align with Business Initiatives for Growth and Cost Savings

WHAT:
Cisco invites customers, media and industry analysts to attend a live, interactive webcast to discuss the findings of an extensive global Fortune 1000 survey, conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit on behalf of Cisco, examining how companies are reshaping IT departments and modernizing IT architecture to better align technology initiatives with business priorities. The webcast will also feature a live, interactive conversation with Cisco's Doug Gourlay and Jim Cooke on developing organizational strategies for evolving IT from its traditional "keep the lights on" focus to being a strategic partner in transforming the business. Industry perspective will also be provided by Debra D'Agostino, senior technology editor with the Economist Intelligence Unit.
