Webcast to Feature Notable K-12 School Districts Using the Network as a Platform for Innovative Forms of Education and Communication

WHAT: Cisco invites media and industry analysts to attend a live, interactive Webcast to discuss how K-12 school districts can use the network as a platform for innovative forms of education and communication. Filled with real-world case studies, the webcast will showcase how school district customers are using network technology to enrich the learning environment, enhance student performance, improve safety, and reduce operating expenses while preparing students for the future.
IT professionals from School District No. 23 in Kelowna, British Columbia, and the Brevard School District, in Viera, Fla. will describe their experiences and successes as they planned, deployed and delivered new network infrastructures designed to support advanced K-12 applications.
School District No. 23 will describe its "Together iLearn" program, one of the largest and most mature one-to-one laptop implementations in North America. Brevard School District will detail how the network transformation it undertook helped make it a Florida Governor's Sterling Award recipient.
