The Connected Bus provides transportation information to its passengers through prominent on-bus display of real-time information, including status of connecting lines at key transfer points, allowing riders to reach their destinations more reliably. By enhancing the overall customer experience of using public transportation in San Francisco, The Connected Bus will attract more riders to public transit, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
