Intelligent Information Network - Cisco's Vision

At CeBIT 2005, Cisco will showcase products and technologies that are bringing Cisco's vision of an Intelligent Information Network to life. Together with its Channel Partners, Cisco will highlight innovations in the fields of IP communication, security (Self Defending Networks), wireless LAN, routing, switching and the Cisco Linksys division, and demonstrate the value of technology for its customers.
Cisco will show the next phase of innovation in intelligent storage networking solutions with new hardware and software designed to help customers increase agility to support changing business priorities, whilst lowering IT Infrastructure costs.
The Guinness World Record-holding Cisco Carrier Routing System (CRS-1), with an industry-leading system capacity of 92 Terabits per second, will also be on display.

Cisco Sponsored Press Conference Cisco will be announcing the next phase of innovation to its intelligent storage networking solutions. The innovations intend to help customers: increase their agility to support changing business priorities, application requirements and investment protection, as well as provide cost-effective business continuance options to meet regulatory requirements; and lower IT Infrastructure costs, increase management services, provide better resource utilization and consolidate storage. Cisco will also discuss its architectural approach to the evolving data centre network.
