Statement of Cisco Senior Vice President Sue Bostrom
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 27, 2004 - Speaking at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce today, President Bush called for transforming health care through information technology.
"I commend President Bush for his vision of utilizing information technology to help transform health care in America. The Administration recognizes the role IT can play in improving health care quality, enhancing productivity and increasing access to health care for all citizens. Affordable, high-quality health care is vital to the continuing success of our nation. Cisco looks forward to working with the public sector and others in the private sector to help transform health care as we know it today."
