California Elementary School Receives Cisco's 100,000th Cisco 2500 Remote Access Router
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 13, 1995 -- Cisco Systems, today announced thatit has manufactured more than 100,000 Cisco 2500 remote access routerssince January 1994. Cisco will award the 100,000th Cisco 2500 to LafayetteElementary School in Oakland, California, to support the school'sincreasing use of online instructional education services. The donation ispart of a collaborative effort with Pacific Bell, Northern Telecom and SanFrancisco-based Public Broadcasting Station KQED.
