Cisco Systems Expands Asia-Pacific Operations By Opening
New Hong Kong Subsidiary
MENLO PARK, Calif., March 3, 1993 -- Cisco Systems,
Inc., the leading worldwide supplier of internetworking
routers, has moved to further strengthen its customer support
in the Asia Pacific region by opening a subsidiary company,
Cisco Systems (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong. The subsidiary, Cisco's
third in the region after Australia and Japan, will be
responsible for supporting the sales efforts of Cisco's
distributors and reseller partners in Asia Pacific.
