mpagent crash when attaching PPT has filenames with "%20" , Fixed CSCtc88258

Symptom:

The mpagent process crash when attempting to upload Microsoft Powerpoint presentations into web conference.
Further testing found end users attaching files with names literally with "%20" as part of the name.

The files would have been named this way as a substitute for the space character. Likely source is when they are click-to-download using IE or some web browser.

eg: my%20book.ppt will fail. my%.ppt will not, and 'my book.ppt' will not.

Conditions:

Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web 6.0MR5
Rename the Powerpoint filenames to remove "%20" or similar ASCII escaped character codes.

Symptom:

Wrong date in notification of MP6.0 MR5 with overlapping midnight in UTC time.
It can happen for every time zone if start time of the meeting in scheduler's time zone overlaps midnight in UTC time.
Conditions:

For example:
Schedule weekly meeting on 10/20 at 20:15 New York time zone.
Since at the moment New York time zone is EDT (UTC - 4hours) this meeting is in UTC time at 10/21 at 00:15am.
On the other hand, if you schedule meeting an hour earlier, notifications will be OK, both in notification body and in "When" field.

Issue is reproducible for recurring meetings except for daily meetings. For daily recurring it is working fine.

Backend Outlook notifications blank when sent to Domino server , Fixed CSCtd04024

Symptom:

With MPOutlook gateway set up to send notifications through Exchange server, when inviting a user who is on a Lotus Domino system, the notification will be properly sent to Exchange server and then relayed to the user's Domino server. However when the user on Lotus Domino server receives the email, the notification if blank.

The notification does not show the HTML body or iCalendar format, including how to attend
a meeting, click-to-attend link. The options to accept or decline meeting invites are not available.
Conditions:

MPOutlook gateway 6.0MR5 is set up to send notifications through Exchange server. This is using SMTP protocol with MIME formatting and includes embedded iCalendar and HTML.

Exchange is properly configured to relay the SMTP emails from MPOutlook to the proper destination if the recipient mailbox does not exist on Exchange.

So Exchange relays the email to Domino Server which is read by the Lotus Notes client. Domino Server is configured to conform to the published MIME standard.
Workaround:

none
Further Problem Description:

This issue is due to the originating server incorrectly populating the data in the text/calendar part of the message according to the published MIME v1.0 standard.

Symptom:

Web Meeting room failed to load with error message : "you must use flash player version 6 or above". This occurs with the Cisco Presenter add-in or without the add-in
Conditions:

Flash player 10 installed on the client computer
Workaround:

The upcoming MeetingPlace Web 6.0MR4 release will provide support for Flash player 10. In the meantime, the only workaround is to uninstall flash player 10 and reinstall the latest flash player 9.0.124 from the Adobe web site by following these steps:

1. Get the version of the FlashPlayer you already have installed on your client machine by following this technote; http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_15507

2. If you are running FlashPlayer 10 or higher continue with this procedure, otherwise you can stop here, you do *not* need to proceed.

3. Download the FlashPlayer 9 archive zip file that contains the Flash Player 9.0.124 among the other versions (the version 9.0.124 is located in the 9r124 subfolder): http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp9_archive.zip

4. Un-install the existing FlashPlayer by following this technote: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157

5. Reboot the client machine Operating System

6.      Install FlashPlayer 9.0.124 by running one of the following files depending on the Operating System and Browser you are using;

Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP

- Internet Explorer: flashplayer9r124_winax.exe
- Netscape & Firefox: flashplayer9r124_win.exe

Mac OS PowerPC

- flashplayer9r124_mac.dmg

Mac OS Intel

- flashplayer9r124_ub_mac.dmg.zip

Solaris

- flashplayer9r124_solaris_x86.tar.bz2 (for Intel x86 based client machines)
- flashplayer9r124_solaris_sparc.tar.bz2 (for Sparc based client machines)

7. (optional) Check that you have FlashPlayer 9.0.124 installed by following this technote : http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_15507

Symptom:

Moderator has access to "More Options" button on the Participant List.

Supposedly, moderator can select any user, then click More Options > Change Enhanced Permissions to grant or remove Tool Control right for that user for any of the Meeting Room tools.

This works for user who is Audience. When moderator first open the Change Enhanced Permissions for a selected audience, all the checkbox for all the tools are not checked. Moderator can now check or uncheck items here and the change will be reflected on that audience user's Meeting Room.

When moderator selects a Presenter user and open the Change Enhancement Permissions UI, all the checkboxes next to all the tools are checked. But if you uncheck any of the tools, click OK, the changes are not reflected in the MR of that user.

If moderator now goes back to the Change Enhanced Permissions UI, all the checkboxes are now back to being checked.

Symptom:

MeetingPlace Web documentation needs to indicate the fact that Restricted Meeting ID Patterns can, and sometimes do, conflict with meeting ID's generated by the MP Audio Server. The MP Audio Server's random meeting ID generation algorithm does not take Restricted Meeting IDs configured on the MP Web Server into consideration.

The documentation should provide more clarity so as to make Customers aware of the fact that Restrictive Meeting IDs do not work properly with random meeting ID generation on the Audio Server. They need to be aware that the Audio Server does not take into consideration Restricted Meeting ID Patterns set on the MP Web Server, and so it will sometimes generate a meeting ID that conflicts with these restricted patterns, causing errors.

Our BU's current position is that Customers should advise their Users to manually enter a meeting ID that does not match Restrictied Meeting ID Patterns set on their Web. This is the only way to ensure that the selected Meeting ID does not conflict with Restricted Meeting IDs and should be noted as such in the documentation.

Symptom:
Recording is automatically stopped when all web users leave the meeting. There may still be some audio users in the meeting, but recording stops.
When everybody leaves web meeting, Breeze stop the recording because the meeting gets shutdown. However, users can still be on the other media. Telephony Adaptor needs to keep track of the number of audio users when stopping the recording as there are no web users.
Workaround:
None.
