SVP and Chief Accounting Officer

Vickie Wong is Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Cisco. In this capacity, she leads Cisco’s Controllership organization with global ownership of accounting and reporting and financial controls. Her responsibilities include:

  • Global accounting at Cisco including Revenue, Supply Chain, Leasing, Cisco Capital Accounting, Real Estate, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Treasury;
  • SEC and international statutory reporting;
  • ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) Controllership function
  • Sarbanes-Oxley program and global governance leadership for all financial controls and compliance;
  • Financial operations including worldwide support for Cisco Capital and financial shared services (payroll, T&E, collections, and accounts payable);
  • Continuous improvement and automation for systems and processes;
  • Supporting Cisco’s new business models and transformation initiatives.

Over her 15-year career at Cisco, Vickie has driven numerous key initiatives and has received recognition for best-in-class in reporting & financial accounting practices, acquisition integrations, and new accounting standards implementation.

Before joining Cisco, she was an audit Partner at KPMG working primarily with clients in the financial services industry. She also spent four years in a national office risk management role with KPMG, advising field offices on technical accounting and auditing issues.

Vickie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and is CPA certified in California.
