Scott Scheeler

Scott Scheeler is the Senior Vice President of Cisco's Enterprise and Data Center Hardware product lines. In this role, he oversees teams responsible for business strategy and hardware development of various enterprise networking and storage systems, including Enterprise Switching, Data Center Switching, Enterprise Routing, Wireless, Computing Systems, Internet of Things, and Small/Medium Business products. Under his leadership, the Enterprise and Data Center hardware team has become a global organization with major development centers located in the United States and China. Scott's focus on innovation and customer-centric solutions has contributed to the growth and success of Cisco's Enterprise segment, which boasts the company's most extensive product portfolio.

Beyond his responsibilities in product development, Scott also serves as the engineering lead on Cisco's Sustainability team. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in driving Cisco's Circular Economy and Net-Zero initiatives, both within the company and beyond. Scott is actively involved in advancing sustainable design efforts across various areas, including product development, material usage, product packaging, and energy consumption. His contributions to Cisco's Sustainability team align with the company's mission to power an inclusive future for all.

Before joining Cisco, Scott held the position of Vice President of Hardware Development at Enterasys/Cabletron. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of hardware and ASIC development, leading to significant achievements in product designs that propelled him on his career path to Cisco.

Scott holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
