John Wunder

SVP, Sales Acceleration

John Wunder is Senior Vice President of Cisco’s Sales Acceleration Organization, leading a team that is dedicated to evolving our GTM model into one that targets simplicity, focus and growth. Over the past five years, John has led Cisco's Global Renewals & Growth Organization. In that time, he has built and mobilized an organization of 1000+ Renewal Managers, Specialists, and Business Development Managers. 

Throughout his 25-year tenure at Cisco, John has been an agent of change and transformation, consistently delivering sustainable growth and high performance. Prior to this, he held many sales leadership and strategy positions, including Account Manager, Regional Manager, Sales Director, and Vice President. As a Sales leader, he learned firsthand the value of keeping the customer first and carried that value with him as he served in his many WW Sales Strategy roles. As leader of Cisco’s Enterprise segment, he was the architect of the Country Global Enterprise Model (CGEM), a focused GTM on Cisco’s top 200 Global customers. 

John holds two degrees from the University of South Carolina and has served on USC's international school board. He is an active board member for the Bridge School, an organization in Hillsborough, CA, focused on the education of children with speech and physical impairments. John is also one of the top fundraisers for Covenant House, an organization dedicated to fighting human trafficking and providing shelter and resources to young people facing homelessness. He has three children and resides in Inlet Beach, Florida, with his wife, Erin.
